Traditional kingmakers in Oyo town have selected a new Alaafin and are now waiting for Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, for a formal announcement, it has emerged.
The Basorun of Oyo, High Chief Yusuf Akinade, made this known in an exclusive interview with The Punch.
Also, a document indicated that a new Alaafin was selected sometime in October 2022.
